One-line description
NOUS Outcomes is the permissionless market layer for reality — turning news, proposals, and real-world events into prediction markets traded on a CLOB, resolved by attested validators, and settled onchain on the NOUS network.
The mark

An architectural N.

Three geometric strokes — two vertical stems and a diagonal — set on a 12-unit rounded amber square. The mark pairs with an Instrument Serif italic wordmark to form the signature lockup.

SVG is the source of truth — it scales to any size, no quality loss. The PNG row on each card is a convenience for surfaces that don't accept SVG (Slack avatars, Notion embeds, partner inbound forms).

For X & social

Built for the places you'll show up.

Pre-rendered profile pictures, headers, and post images at the exact dimensions X, LinkedIn, Discord, Farcaster, and Slack expect. Every asset routes through the canonical mark — they never drift from the rest of the kit.

Profile pictures

X clips avatars to a circle; the signature mark fills the field edge-to-edge.

NOUS Protocol

X / Twitter

400×400px · circle
PNG

X auto-crops profile pictures to a circle. The signature mark fills the circle edge-to-edge — the N keeps clearance on every side.

NOUS Protocol

Farcaster

400×400px · circle
PNG

Same 400×400 signature works for Farcaster, Bluesky, and any platform that hands you a single round avatar slot.

NOUS Protocol

Discord / Slack

PNG

Square-cropped platforms (Discord servers, Slack workspaces, GitHub orgs). Same mark, no crop math.

NOUS Protocol

Inverse alt

400×400px · circle
PNG

Use the inverse (ink field, amber N) when you need the avatar to read as a quieter mark in a busy timeline.

How it renders small

X mentions clip to 24px. Timeline avatars sit at 48px. The mark's 14-unit padding holds the N clear of the circular crop at every size.

Wordmark

Instrument Serif italic. Always.

The wordmark is the brand's voice. Never set it in DM Sans, Inter, or any other face. At sizes below 24px, drop the italic to avoid pixel-grid breakage — the LogoLockup component flips automatically.

Amber is a scalpel.

Usage

Keep the system coherent.

Do
  • Preserve the amber rounded-square backdrop on the signature mark.
  • Use Instrument Serif italic for the wordmark — it is the brand voice.
  • Leave at least 8px clearspace around the logo (half a mark width).
  • Pair with the dark #07070A surface as the default.
  • Reserve green exclusively for success and positive P&L signals.
Don't
  • Rotate, skew, outline, or drop-shadow the mark.
  • Render the wordmark in anything other than Instrument Serif italic.
  • Apply purple, cyan, or teal gradients — those belong to competitors.
  • Fill amber above 4% opacity on card backgrounds.
  • Place the mark on low-contrast backgrounds. Test at 5.5:1 AA minimum.

NOUS Outcomes is the permissionless market layer for reality. Anyone can turn a live event into a tradeable market: the NOUS Reality Engine drafts the specification — question, expiry, resolution source, validator set — and validators certify the rules before capital arrives. A central limit order book discovers the probability, and at expiry a network of TEE-attested validators resolves the outcome by commit-reveal consensus. Every market settles onchain on NOUS — its own network, purpose-built for outcome markets.

Long

The full brief · feature stories, partner docs

NOUS Outcomes is the permissionless market layer for reality. It compresses the lifecycle from headline to order book: a live event enters the feed, the NOUS Reality Engine drafts a precise market specification, validators certify the rules, a creator posts a bond, and an opening auction clears the first price. From there a central limit order book becomes the public probability surface — the market prices probability while the validator network owns resolution integrity. At expiry, TEE-attested validators commit-reveal votes with evidence; a quorum finalizes the outcome and a dispute window guards it. The market then settles onchain and fees route to the stack that made it possible — creators earn on the markets they originate, validators are paid for truth work, makers earn for liquidity, and the protocol earns on settlement. TEE attestation proves process — which code ran, which sources were accessed, who signed — not magic truth; truth comes from evidence, quorum, reputation, and economic accountability. Settlement runs on the NOUS network — its own network, purpose-built for outcome markets rather than retrofitted from a payments chain — with privacy that keeps strategy off a public mempool and final settlement as base behavior. The protocol is permissionless by default: market creation is an open revenue line, and quality is certified before liquidity arrives.
